in response to the Gunnar comments; He has a CD of original waltzes that is excellent. I felt that Madsen brought a theatrical element to The Bobs that was very difficult to replace when he left. It meshed perfectly with the Scott, Greene, and Stull styles. You can see this style rubbing off on the group in performances of "Share A Load".14 years ago

Vintage Bobs... nice to see Gunnar in the mix - he was certainly a character. Sadly, never got to see him live (think the "break through" song for me was them doing "Johnny's Room" on Carson in the late 80s).15 years ago

@lauriegrassman Strange as it may seem, Gunnar recorded an album of original children's music after leaving The Bobs. I've heard a few tracks from it. Its actually quite good.15 years ago
