I'm working in Detroit about four days a week, and this reminds me of the place.

I know Detroit folks think they had Seger locked up, but he toured lots in Florida during the Bob Seger System days -- The first time I heard them they opened at the Orlando Sports Stadium for Country Joe and the Fish.

I had two older brothers. Not just sibs born b4 me, real brothers. Both fought the VC, 1 came back and taught me all I needed to know to be a good man. The other is carried in my heart.

My favorite Bob Seger song, and there are many excellent ones attributed to him. A true rocker. He's a great song writer not just a great performer.

That's the coolest thing about Bob Seger: he trancends generations just like Buddy holly and other great ones.

I love the drums but when the bass and keys come in at 0:08, I get up out of my chair and start moving.... Any song that gets you up and dancing is timeless....
