Thanks, m-76. Sometimes, this is the only thing that pulls me out of doubt and back into the light of possible,for lack of a better way of saying it. They sing how i feel (so-that i do NOT have to drink), if that makes sense.I gave it up long-ago before real damage was done. But this is the missing puzzle-piece if i were able to ask for one.

Of all sons for a father to visit his sins upon, i'd wish this man's father had been willing and able to give his boys a pass. Because they ( five of them) sang as sweet as songbirds. Some of them still do. Here's one that left us all more or less at the same time as his younger brother left us, but for a diff. reason. Hurricane Katrina took his brother. I think a broken heart took Billy Cowsill, They once performed together as kids. I think this is hauntingly beautiful for a kid who was kicked out of his ownhome and family by a drunken fool. It happens. But should not have ~ to these guys.
