The Blue Seeds is a Montreal-based band who's music resides somewhere between atmospheric-rock and alternative-folk. They strive to write and arrange songs that are both current and timeless, creating their own unique soundscape that evokes the mystery of a David Lynch movie and the refinement of a Wim Wenders film.

The band has performed live throughout the province of Quebec (Canada), as well as in Toronto, Paris and Berlin. In addition, they've participated in such prestigious events as the Montreal International Jazz Festival (Canada), Le Printemps de Bourges (France), Popkomm (Germany) and the Festival d'Été de Québec (Canada) with Marianne Faithfull and Martha Wainwright.

2013 marks a new chapter for The Blue Seeds, with Winnipeg-born Jenn Mierau joining the band as lead singer. This Montreal collective is completed by Jean-Sébastien Brault-Labbé (drums) François Dufault (guitar), Martin Farmer (bass) and Éric Rathé (guitar).
