Where is the line between "derivative, unoriginal" and "steeped in classicism". I heard the Black Ryder on the compilation "Burn Your Fingers on the Sun". Ian Astbury of the Cult listed them as one of his favourite bands. He's not a relaible guru, but I'm starting to The Black Ryder are in the latter category.
