I don't mean to be a big troll about this, but I really don't like how they played this. There's no balance, the guitar hogs the whole song (which is okay 4 75% of it but I have a lot of trouble hearing Nobuo in the mix here), I don't like the tuning issues, whether they're intentional or not, and I think its stupid to make any song/performance not about achieving the best quality you can. If a musician sacrifices overall quality for some pretentious bullshit then they forgot what music's about.

I hate people that dwell in the metaphysical when the truth is right in front of their eyes. I like the band, but this isn't a very good concert, and I hate it when people try to justify bad tuning with bullshit reasons like those ones. You know what? Uwe Boll INTENTIONALLY makes shitty video game movies. Because of a nihilist philosophy. Now, that is A. not true, B. Stupid, C. Sounds just as stupid as saying that the guitarist is intentionally out of tune.

Why would I wanna play like them? I can't do that, I'm not even gonna bother. But I still have the right to claim that it's out of tune. "You can't play it" is not even a real argument. But yeah, maybe it's meant to sound that way. Who knows.

The Black Mages rock! I've been a fan of Nobuo Uematsu since he started with Squaresoft. And that red haired guy on the guitar just rocks! The solo is my favorite part!

These guys are incredible! Even if you have no knowledege of "Final Fantasy", this is awesome stand-alone music. A very high level of musicianship.Reminiscent of classic "Yes".
