I actually like Turn Blue, the first time i heard I was like: wut the fuck, dude? Wut's this shit, bitch? Then after the last song which reminded me of their original songs I listened tk the alum aajn and it is a very good album, along with their others, of course. Ya know? And Danger Mouse, who contributed with The Black Keys for this album is great, he also contributed to the Black Keys's "Brothers". And to Gorillaz's " Demon Days". And recently he formed a band with The Shins's frontman, James Mercer in 2010, they have 2 albums and they sound exactl like turn blue, especially their second album, "After The Disco", yoj should really checm them out, just search for "Broken Bells " on youtube. Dude i dont like the turn blue album either but sometimes a band needs to venture out and try new sounds so when they go back to their original sound they go hard! They're not machines they can't keep making amazing songs one after another, if they tried to do that it'll be forced and will probably mediocre songs at best. They need to change it up for a little and then with time they'll naturally make awesome songs like the ones on El Camino and Brothers. Be patient!
