The drummer is obviously not a pro, but so what (I've been playing since I was five). But what he plays is raunchy and sweaty and out of time and PERFECT! Would we rather some knob like Neal Peart in there instead. This guy reminds me of the chick from the White Stripes. Not a great drummer, but perfect for the band.

It's really too bad as I really like this song, but it seems the drummer brings this song down so much live. When playing he can't keep the tempo (he keeps speeding up and slowing down), and the beat just does not match the song whatsoever. People say that his style is the Black Keys, which I can agree with, but style and the playing of a beat are two completely different things. I know that playing in front of people (especially that many) would take a toll on any performer, but the fact is, he needs to sharpen up that beat and watch his tempo. It just seems like he's playing a different song than their other frontman. Maybe I'm just being hypercritical, but being a serious drummer, I have the curse of noticing these things, and they ruin a song for me.

The more I hear this drummer the more I wonder how the fuck he made it this far. so so so off time, its all over the place. if it was played to a click .... hahah yeah that's a joke

No offense to dan, but he's gotta stop using that guitar. It's a nice collectible, but it sounds like butt. He should use his tele's again.

Pat's always had that emotion to his playing. It's meant to be. That's why he's a unique drummer! There's a killa cinematic version of their lonely boy on my page. Killa video too!
