The Black Crowes - Black Moon Creeping (studio) video free download
NOTE: the audio and video are not meant to match or sync up. Here's the story... the video is from The Black Crowes video "Who Killed That Bird Out On Your Windowsill" (finally available on DVD after only being available on VHS or laserdisc for so many years - go get it). But on the "Who Killed That Bird..." video, I was always annoyed by the fact that the performance is constantly interrupted by interview clips. I love watching TBC in the studio, so I grabbed the audio from a different studio performance (another take) and matched it up as best as I could. You're hearing the band performing the song live at Southern Tracks Studio in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992, but you're watching them perform a different take. Get it? So, enjoy. The result is a great performance to hear, and you can get a feel for what it was like by watching the visuals.

Watching these guys do their thing like this... it literally sends chills up my spine. Years after this, when it was time for me to purchase a voiceover microphone - I specifically bought the mic pictured here (a Shure SM7b) partially because it was the mic that Chris used to record SHAMC. And partially because it sounded fine for my needs and fit into my price range. But the BC factor weighed heavily!12 years ago
