Sounds like a lot of the elusive underground scene of the late 60's, like the Misunderstood, and Country Joe and the Fish. It just doesn't sound much like any innovative step has been made, it's more like re-creating it.

There are limits to absolute creativity, and influences of some era or another do affect artists and musicians and as long as you dont directly steal you hav nothing to worry bout. Probably serious creative innovation like from the sixties music era are once in a long time and usually a result of the zeitgeist of those times. We now live in another-one well worn well informed which may or may not be a problem for creative artists.

Not in this video they're not. Yeah I'm sure there's some 60s rock influence but they're not the doors, the fucking keyboardist doesn't sound anything like Ray. Plus just having a "vintage organ sound" doesn't make you a 60s rock band. Hahaha yes i must not be familiar with playing any instrument....

The band members themselves are talking about influence, 1960's psychedelic rock. And that now vintage organ sound was the signature of The Doors. So they actually do sound like a previous era, the 1960's is arguably the greatest decade in music, there is nothing wrong with that. You must not be familiar with playing any instrument.

I had no idea these guys toured with Roky. The 13th Floor Elevators are one of the best psychedelic bands of the 60's. The album Easter Everywhere is pure genius.

The intro sounds pretty similar to I call your name or You cant do that by The Beatles. Amazing band though

I'd say more like The Doors and The Beach Boys blend! A little Monkees too! But not bad at all!

Who is talking about influence? The comments are obviously an attempt to associate them with bands of a previous era, which they clearly don't sound like, and I'm sure they aren't trying to sound like.

it's not "trying to pin bands on previous bands", it is talking about the influence of their music style and genre
