As much as I hate to admit....I agree with you. Since MGS2 the story started to deteriorate. That doesnt mean MGS2 and 4 are bad games...but they doesn't gave me the same feeling as the first one did. MGS3 on the other hand, was a masterpiece aswell.

I will never....ever.....forget the first time i beat this game and heard this song....now that i think about it, its seriously the first game i ever managed to finish before getting bored...... it really made me realize how much more a videogame can be. Back then i was only used to playing light hearted nintendo games, which are also fun dont get me wrong...but, its just that..i dunno they're "just" fun games, nothing more.
