No it doesn't, for the 5th time "misspelt" is not a word and I already said it didn't exist in even old english which I looked up. You got 24 thumbs up, the most on this thread for correcting someone and being retarded by spelling "misspelt" wrong which has everyone laughing at you lol Face it, you lose lol

Are you having a giggle? It says right there that misspelt is a past participle of misspell. And that was another user, look back through the comments.

Yes you did, you said "you can't talk about grammar after typing ROFLMAO." So what did that mean exactly? The word is "misspell" there is no "misspelt," as I already told you I looked at both dictionaries and even Germanic ones dating back centuries to find the word, so you are caught lying. lol So answer my question already and stop stalling.

Because I didn't bring that up...? Also, oxforddictionaries com/definition/english/misspell Pointless argument..

mrceebees14

Answer my question please, what was wrong with "ROFLMAO?" Why are you ducking the question? lol

No it isn't, I checked all over and the word does not exist. I purposely checked British dictionaries and even Germanic ones hoping to find a link between the two, but the fact is, "Pelt" has no relation to "spelled," especially since one is a verb and the other an adjective which means they are different.

Misspelt is the past participle of misspell. I don't know what you've been smoking, but that's common knowledge. And yes, that's according to oxford dictionary, harvard dictionary and pretty much any literate human being.

mrceebees14

And I checked the oxford dictionary, misspelt comes up as incorrect since the suffix "pelt" has no linguistic relationship to "spelled." Think of a better line of bullshit next time please lol I will ask you again, what was wrong with "ROFLMAO?" It does not fall under grammatical law as it's internet slang like I mentioned already. My guess is you simply got your feelings hurt, but please tell me anyway, why can't I type "ROFLMAO?" Is there a "British spelling" to this also? LOL

It finally hit you lol thank god, about time. Misspelt is not the British alternative, but really nice try. Here is what comes up when searching for "misspelt" misspelt Web definitions (misspell) spell incorrectly. wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

I finally get it, you think I should've used 'misspelled'. Misspelt is the british english alternative of the word. So yeah, my grammar is pretty well fine.

mrceebees14

Correct, so why can't I type "ROFLMAO" like you said then? Really? Show me where my "grammar" was wrong in any of my posts if typing internet slang is a reflection of bad grammar. I think you need to stop crying.

Typing internet slang has nothing to do with good grammar. In fact, typing internet slang shows that you don't know grammar rules. I think you need to tighten the straps of your helmet a bit.

Why can't I type "ROFLMAO?" You do realize that it's typical internet slang like "LOL" or "LMAO." You do realize that the 23 thumbs up you got from people was meant to mock you right?
