In the winter of 2010 Aaron Fletcher from The Bees was invited to go to Southern India for a holiday. It was somewhere he had never wanted to go before, but truly loved what he saw. He was inspired! Something he didn't expect that India would do to him as he was there to relax, swim and eat real Tandoori.
He decided along with his brother in law to make a little video for 'Pressure makes me Lazy', one of the more ambient/tribal songs on the recent Bees Album 'Every Step's A Yes'
They discovered this small and very basic ferry that would cross The River Saal hourly-ish and decided it was a great place to shoot the video. Aaron rented a bike and got up at 5am over a few mornings to capture the Goan sunrise and the early morning commuters. He lip synced and danced and Anthony filmed him in his haze.
Anthony has just had the chance to put the final edit together this summer (2012). We really hope that you enjoy it.
A big special thankyou to Anthony Souter. He is a film director and producer and currently living in Rome. Check out some of his other work here http://vimeo.com/user10222609/videos .
