Seriously, someone needs to find another word to rhyme with night other than 'tight'.

Lead singer yes was Brian Wilson, HOWEVER: The song has been played live many times throughout the years. Given Brian Wilson's frequent absence from the touring group, Al Jardine has sung the lead vocals on the song during its live history. However, during the band's 50th Anniversary Tour, Wilson sang the lead vocals on the song. He had previously sung the song live on his solo tours, although infrequently.

Sorry you are upset. Upset is a bad outcome listening to BB's tunes.

THAT is a great list dude........ dont know Buddy Holly catalogue very well so i probably would have to put someone else in 4th place..... like Genesis... or the Rolling Stones.

whats strange about your comment, is that i heard Ringo talk about not coming to the studeo when high or drunk cause the music sounded like C.. and it had to be done over

Hi David my home base was Pompey and was drafted back there in 1968. I remember a place on Southsea sea front opposite one of the piers, South parade I think, anyway it was a mecca for matelots and called the festival bar/club, better known to us skates as The fess bar, does that ring any bells? Regards Dickie

Hi Dickie, Me too! Except it was in Portsmouth when I was a Dockyard apprentice. Can't remember the dance hall name but it was on Southsea Front, opposite the pier - very popular with all the RN matelots. LOL!

Great track by the way! Sad to see them like they are now. Mike Love as predictable as ever!
