Shows off the production skills of Brian Wilson at the age of 22...love production without synths...

Wow. You sound pretty serious about that. Did an instrumental track kill your dog?

I seriously doubt there are any Beach Boys on this. It's Probably just Brian conducting a full complement of wrecking crew musicians. Without the girl's singing, it becomes apparent that a lot of saxophones of various sizes were involved in the recording. Also, this is great quality wide-separation stereo.

@colindominy I think you're right!

I can detect what I think might be embryonic little snippets in here, of several BW riffs (albeit very brief, & also speeded up a little) which to me sound awfully similar to those which later formed the core basis of Brian's No.1 selling masterpiece, "Help Me Rhonda", which he produced some 2 years later. Go have a close listen to the Help Me Rhonda instrumental backing track (& also the alternate version which appered on the "Endless Harmony" DVD). Whatcha think, fellow fans & friends ..

Beach Boys ? No. Unreleased ? No. This is the instrumental track to "The One You Can't Have", the A side of The Honeys third Capitol single. Never, ever intended for anyone else.

I think this is a Honeys' song. The Beach Boy intended to cut it?

Music sounds like, or reminds me of Brian's "Little Children" Marching Along.
