An excellent tune from the 1978 released M.I.U. album.

Was a big surprise the first time I put on the album. What this album has over the previous two is improved vocals, espeicaklly form BW,.

I like this song but, as much as I hate to say this, Brian's falsetto kinda ruins it. This song could do with a cover.

Here's the story. I was sitting at the piano in our studio at MIU, playing what became the verses of this, and Brian walked in and just started singing his falsetto. He liked the energy of what I was playing and it became my first co-written song with Brian and Mike.

For the record, MIU is a MUCH better album than is given credit.

Guess this is the last Brian Falsetto lead on a record.

Ah, what a shame that people & critics had to react with such suspicion to the little M.I.U. album -- just because its name suggested that the Boys had all donated their worldly posessions to the Maharishi and joined a cult, just because Brian was NOT back, despite all reports otherwise, just because of Eugene Landy... ...I guess the late '70s were a scary time, where the casualties of drugs & VietNam & EST littered the landscape... but I like the album nevertheless.

A fantastic song from a much derided album. This would fit right in on The Beach Boys Today or Summer Days albums. Brian does his falsetto possibly for the last time before his vocal register lowered too far for him to get there anymore.

I've always had mixed feelings about this album and perhaps this period, but good to hear again. Thanks for posting.
