@blackpoolrok I think that you have got a very valid point, sir. That said, I am not 100% sure that, that nonce case Jonathan King did actually sing lead on the original [1971] version of The Bay City Rollers' hit, "Keep On Dancing". From what I understand, there is still a considerable amount of confusion and controversy about this matter; some people say that the lead vocalist on this track was Gordon ('Nobby') Clark; some say it was Alan Longmuir; and others say it was Mr King.

I am glad that I am not the only person who remembers that Nobby Clark sang with this group before Les and Co. I saw them locally with Nobby along with the 2 Longmuirs. I had a singed photo of them at one time. Nobby was a bit older than Les, but I do remember he was lovely. What happened to him?

alan didnt sing the original single release by the rollers. it was nobby clark who also sang saturday night and remember, he left just before remember charted and was replaced by les
