This is actually the first I'm hearing of The Bantams--better late than never, I guess(lol). I just recently saw the Hollywood a Go Go episode that features them on YouTube, and then this one. This is a very good song; the melody is so catchy, and the vocals are good, too. I've also read the comments for this clip; they went a long way toward educating me and filling in the gaps, so I say "thank you" for that :D. Gary Lewis and The Playboys were mentioned, and the piano reminds me a little of "(She's) Just My Style". Good influences. :D

At least 2 of the Bantams went on to play with the Venice, CA. band The Canaligators from what I remember!

I saw them live at a show at Birmingham High School in 67 - lineup was Pepsi Boss Battle of the Bands, and they were in the battle. Then someone I just can't remember, Emmit Rhodes and the Merry Go Round, The Doors, and the Jefferson Airplane...I also saw Jimi Hendrix there, can't remember if it was the same night or not...I was 14. Walked there from my house.

Weren't they on that short-lived game show called "Showdown", with Joe Pyne as host? That would have been the 60's.
