Someone else on another Bangels video used the term"Power Pop". Pretty good read on it I thought.

30 years have gone by and this is still as fresh as ever. Gotta love video to capture this wonderful upbeat song that just brings a smile to yer face.It has a great beat, the harmonies are all on point, and the beat just continues to flow throughout the entire song combined with those fabulous voices just brings it all together.Great times good memoriesPeace 2 ya

All four girls had good voices. It's a shame they weren't used more. I guess the record company wanted more emphasis on Susanna Hoffs because she was the best looking.

I seem to recall a different version of this video, where the winner of the contest wasnt "The Love Beats," but "Koo Koo and the DooDoo Heads." Both were previous names of the Bangles, in the early (EARLY) 80s. Given here as an easter egg most likely.

I loved them in the 80's & still play their music now. Timeless quality riffs, great sounds. Plus they are all very, very, very, foxy.....wow........

an utterly bizarre, inexplicable nonsensical mish-mash of a video for a wonderful, catchy song.
