Bravo Stephen !! also- Just a reminder to those of you strangely "anti-pop" fans.. The Bangles loved 60's pop, and made some very good guitar pop themselves before they were artistically steamrolled by Columbia.. And yes, that was partly their fault, but the point is, they probably wouldn't have formed, if not for the huge influence of 60's pop, so if you're really a fan, quit selling them short ! The giant corporate label is who killed their creativity, not "pop music"...

I would love to know the background to the making of this recording. Was is specifically done for Rodney Bingenheimer? Was is intentially influenced by the Raybeats (a 60s influenced instrumental band who were on the fringe edge of the Paisley Undergound scene)? This really needs to be part of a REAL early Bangles compilation with this, the Faulty EP, Rock and Roll Alternative Radio theme and the Bangs single with maybe the Noh Mag jingle and the Real World 12" remix as bonus tracks - it would be excellent to have all those loose tracks in one place.
