Love the Avett Brothers. This is definitely one of their more popular songs out there, but its only the tip of the iceburg. True musicians.

I think this video is great and fits the song in a really nice, not-so-obvious yet appropriate way. Keep up the good work, whatever you do, Mr. Nackashi.

I get what you're saying. Avett have a thousand songs that all sound completely different. They're unmatched in everything they do. They never expected to become a huge band. They still play live shows like a band trying to put gas in the van. As does M&S. If you asked each band what they thought of the other, you'ld get the same response...kindred spirits.

Your assertion was that they are both equally amazing. The fact M+S can produce some sweet sounds does not make up for the fact they have taken one idea and smashed it to the ground through their catalogue.

Go into your happy place with your copy of Babel, listen to Broken Crown. Then take Sigh no More & listen to Awake my Soul. If that doesn't work, you're hopeless.

are you kidding me? M+S are unjustifiably overhyped while they produce some of the most unadventurous and quite frankly forgettable folk music.

Oh you need to shut that noisemaker of yours, pal. Both bands are equally amazing.

A-vett, rhyming with "hey", and -vette, like short for "Corvette"...

Okay, I've been wondering about this for a while now; Is it pronounced 'aye vet' brothers or 'uh vet' brothers?

and you're a fool. Or obviously just don't need to listen to music of any sort. The Avett Brothers are extremely talented and were before the grammies.

the hexeract.....um no not at all this band does not suck and i know that was ur opinion just like this is mine but why they sing off tune and things like that is because they arent singing just to sing the r singing to express feelings for anybody and mabye the band itself people that like "off tune" singing listen because they dont care about the tunes they care about what is being said just like violent femmes...
