It says in the Independent's obituray that John Du Cann "moved to Norwich and manufactured greenhouses and conservatories". It's a very respectable and useful thing to do, to make something. Yet one cannot help but feel a sense of sadness that this musical genius was making conservatories for middle managers - the bathos of the UK over the past three decades. I will always travel through the portals of his music, into the Strange House of truth. John Du Cann, play in the music of the spheres.

I always thought this was a pretty groovy psychedelic song. The bandsfrom the UK in the 60s. I guess it hits home because I grew up ina strange house. Being in my early teens in the 70s I was crazy aboutthis particular sound. Sad part is I didn't have access to most of it untillater in life. Our radio stations were top 40, country and mainstream pop rock. Good part is, I have all I can handle now.

even prettier and groovier than i remember it as a child - this kind of music always improves the quality of existance, no matter what the situation & should be required listening for today's music students
