i love that people are complaining about this not being ska when the band claims to play its own unique blend of music called aquabeat not ska

First show I ever been to was The Aquabats and ever show since then has never been as good. That's when we still had a decent venue though. RIP Huntridge.

You, my friend, have found several; silly, decadent, but yet relevant gems. Shiny and valuable are they, hey hey!

Mexican candy does have a certain complex flavor. Also, this such a nice Aquabats song.

Ska-punk bands, maybe, but it's been a long time since I've seen any good *ska* bands - be it trad or 2-Toney - come out of the States.

It seems to be going through a revival here in England, but I mean that I have seen quite a few good bands come out of the U.S in recent years. Which is nice.

Last ska fest I went to in Canada there were a bunch of new and young bands. I can't speak for other countries, but in terms of ska-oriented festivals, record labels and the general number and scope of bands, most scenes seem far more vibrant than the US, just from what shows/fests I've seen in Canada, England and Australia.

I love the ska-era Aquabats, but I'm really digging their new style... It's like if Cheap Trick and DEVO had a baby.

Actually, Hank is a band of superheroes who fight crime with ska music.
