I love when people make elevator music actually great. And this song is every reason to face the day all the same.

We are the Happy few who grew up with this kind of stuff. Nowadays a dog shit on the sidewalk is all that matters in the neighborhood. Pity our children. That and the expectation for a 3rd WW. In which I guess they can teach or get a good Listen.

RIP Doc, hero of my youth. What a brilliant front man, what a fantastic band. I mean, how good were the Angels in their prime? Smart lyrics, gutsy, feel good rock and roll, nothing better..

I remember them doing this right about the time the album came out.  I hadn't heard it yet and Doc came out on stage with a white sheet that he was wrapping himself in, and  I thought he was saying "I don't want to face the dead" LOL.  It wasn't until after that my friend corrected me.

I just heard the news that Doc passed away 3 days ago. Didn't hear a thing about it except Blabbermouth posting the Youtube clip of Axl doing a cover of 'Marseilles'. They had a bit of rock radio play back in the early eighties, but unfortunately nowadays TOO MANY PEOPLE have no idea who Angel City/The Angels were. Great Band, Great Frontman.
