Before asking questions, READ the profile where you will find 90% of the info you're after. I'm no educationalist and I have nothing to offer in terms of techniques, practicing, strings and equipment. In other words, if it`s not in the profile I can most likely not help you out.

Old thrash bass player here, how do you modern guys keep track of song order with what seems to me a jumbled up mess of scales and modes? It makes no sense to me in the way songs normally flow. This style boggles my mind.

I found you on steam *stalkermode deactivated* It's great to see that you have almost just as much TF2 hours as me! :)

Do you think you will ever get an opportunity to break those routines, or it's just you don't want to break them?

People worship you due to your unmatched technique in the genre. Sure there's jazz musicians that I'm sure could walk circles around you but understand most people, Americans in particular, and very musically ignorant. Find their own preference to be superior. I wish the best of luck to you, I do look up to your bass playing as I'm in the genre as well. hope you find something you can be passionate about.

You seem to have it all backwards. I've been in a rut for the past 10-12 years playing the exact same stuff, unable to break my routines and do something new, which in turn has made me stuck in a genre I've long lost interest in. I have no clue why people "worship" me. It's literally just wankery with no real thought behind it, so I wouldn't even call myself a musician at this point. Just a tool.

It seems like you're so good at playing that you find bass boring, which is why you don't seem to like people that worship you...or stick in bands that people really wish you would.

Is the "tone" related to fret noise because of very low strings or something like that? -Greetings from México

While this is true, it's still a job and not a hobby I once found interesting. If I take on a job\commitment I follow through, simple as that.

i've read somewhere you've lost your interest in playing bass.

I honestly have problems following your logic here.

so you don't play with spawn of possession anymore?

HI! Because never rehearsing and never making songs isn't productive, so we're calling it quits once we've recorded our coming EP.
