Best thing they've done, and they've done some superb songs. They are beautifully shambolic live, in a good way, obviously! I'm not sure they much like us harping on about how good the Beta Band were, but Gordon has been known to sing 'If there's something inside that you wanna say, you can say it alrite / sing it out loud it will be okay, I will be your light / I will be alrite when they do this live. I smiled. :) Sepher

Agree totally. my favourite band by a nautical mile. They blow their contemporaries out the water big styleee. I kinda like the fact they're relatively unknown though,a bit pretentious i know,but they're 'my band',they're my little secret,like the betas before them and Lone pigeon KBT,General.....,Black Affair..etc. Having said that,i'll contradict myself by saying i'd love to see these guys ( the ex betas ) make it big. they deserve the success far more than many other overrated bands out there

Beautiful song. Absolute classic. Haunting, happy, sad, jovial, at at once. One of my favourite Lone Pigeon songs, and one of my favourite Aliens songs.

Incredible song, like most off Luna. Astronomy For Dogs didn't have many long songs on it. Billy Jack Bobbys Song, this one and more make Luna the better album for me. But I think The Aliens are my fave band now beating Oasis, MJ, The Beatles. I can't believe not many people have heard of them. Can't wait for the 3rd album.
