The Alan Parsons Project - You don't believe video free download

PLEASE READ:

I want to clarify some points in this video:

First is the concept idea, everybody knows the "religious" side in many songs of APP, so, every time I hear this song I imagine that those words would be the perfect reproach to any god or religion, something that I talked a long time ago in some forums, an idea that is not intended to be correct, just particular, because everyone imagines something different when listening APP.

So, when I decided the making of this clip, I thought to do it with "that idea", but I am extremely tired to delete "video responses" with religious connotations in my clips from people who use APP music as a purely religious songs (something that users like MsCalandro , Vanina, Damina and some others know very well) also I'm boring to discuss religions (I'm an atheist) so I preferred to give another approach to the video (probably the most accepted) and bring this song to "romantic" ground, imagining a very bad woman which complicates a tired man's life.

This video may seem bizarre and somewhat obscure to many people, my mother hates to see extremely close up eyes and many people hate snakes eating rats, sorry for that.

Special thanks to the person who made the film of the girl walking, which was extracted from a video called "fog" (excellent) that MsCalandro generously gave me but we don't known the author (I would like to see more of his great work) the rest of sequences have been found in Google.video host (not YT) without authors references, in a playlist called "extremely close up" without copyright notices, "apparently" for free use and I wish to thank to the authors too.

As always says; I hope you enjoy it and post your comments.

Terence, this was on "Ammonia Ave.," not "Eve."

Don't know why there always seems to be such controversy trying to get to the bottom of the "meaning" of this song, incidentally one of my old favorites. My version as it was since I first heard it; it is a guy questioning himself in second person, ie; not believing in himself. To me, the first two lines establish he is having an internal doubt session with himself. But whatever, it is a great song (and nice video, too), so I will shut up and listen to it :D. Again!

My eyes with your vision. My choice but always your decision. My play with your direction. Well it's my lead but always your connection. But when I look into your eyes you don't believe me. I can see it in your eyes you don't believe. My words, your expression. My land, always your possession. My song, your production. My expense is always your deduction. But when I look into your eyes you don't believe me. I can see it in your eyes you don't believe. And the face I see before me. Is both sides of a mirror. You really know you've got a hold on me. And the face you're looking into. Is both sides of a window. And any way you look you see through me. My fame, your reflection. My weakness always your protection. Well it's my terms on your conditions. And they're my tunes but they're your compositions. But when I look into your eyes you don't believe me. I can see it in your eyes you don't believe.

This is closer to being a pop song than most of the Projects work, but it still sits well on the Eve album.

A great song that wasn't played often, and is barely known or recalled today by many - even amongst those who are fans of APP.

Not only posting, I made it ;) I had a similar case with some others songs too, for example "Solo" by "Solo", I was searching for that song almost 20 years and a couple of months ago finaly found it (by miracle) here en YT. I'm glad you like it Robyn.

Thanks for posting the video! It took me almost 8 years to track down the name and artist of this song (and I'm not kidding!). I only heard a brief clip of the intro and the outro of an otherwise edited recording of a now-default Top 40 station from 1984 and the air talent didn't ID what it was. I remember hearing the song on the radio back then, but since it peaked at #54 on Billboard's "Hot 100" chart, it wasn't a huge hit and I didn't hear the song again for almost 29 years. Again, thanks!

We all on on a journey, we all have to work out our salvation. But we all get something out of a song and it's words. It's all in the perception, and what we already believe. It's an individual trip

Unsure if it's true but I'm sure I once read that Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson were going through a period where their relationship became strained in the early 80s due to working constantly with each other non-stop since the mid-70s; Woolfson was becoming distrusting of Parsons as the latter was getting all the plaudits and this was intended to reflect that it wasn't all fun and games in the Project; Lenny Zakatek did the vocals as a "neutral", but he sure brought out the anger in the song!

This is the opinion with which I agree the most, I don't think there's any religion in this song or any APP songs.
