Absolutely not anything to do with The Dolls. A UK band for a start. Great British poppy psych. Now... does anyone actually know a line up for this band?

Johnny Thunders, Arthur Kane and Rick Rivets used to play in a band called "Actress" before they became the New York Dolls. I'm not quite sure this is them. I heard some recordings of the pre-Dolls Actress and they sound much more proto-punk, like the Dolls. Furthermore this song is featured on the compilation "A perfumed Garden" as a 1969 song and I have no news about Johnny Thunders early band previous to 1970, but actually Thunders joined Actress when they were already around. So, it's likely that this is the same band, before Thunders gave it a rawer sound. Let's find out, I'm rather interested.

One of my all-time favorites of the era. You can place the year just by the sound. Sgt. Pepper guitar fills and all. Thanks.
