Verse 1

I thought that you were a beautiful thing

You told me you had the world on a string

That you could melt the moon and cool the sun

Your words are like a loaded gun

I wish that you were your own best friend

You’re bound to break if you don’t bend in the wind

The storm is only in your head

Chorus

Come down you know

From the darkest night shines the brightest star

Let go

It’s cool for you to be just who you are

Verse 2

You lose the feel when you’re caught up on the words

You can tell me it’s new but I’ve already heard it

You hide behind your golden mask

But the truth will always kick your ass

You act like you’ve got it under control

You’re like a rock but you’re starting to roll

You think you’ve got it figured out

Your East is West your North is South

Like this song. Love the contrasting of the chorus with the instrumental rhythm. Sounds r&b which is more of my taste in music. Viewed more of her after seeing this video on tv. She's a talented young country artist. I'd like to get this song.

Someone please ask her nicely to upload Golden Boy and then thank her for it afterward. That is all.

Thank you so much for the response, I'm old school so I will wait for the CD. What are the chances of getting a signed one when they come out? I will gladly pay more if I need to. Keep up the great work, you are well on your way.

Awesome song--nice chord modulations. Great arrangement. And wow--you're voice is superb. I still remember you singing Amazing Grace in Sundling! Nice going.
