Another one of my favorites bands during highschool. I waited outside of Bogart's (in Long Beach, CA, USA) for the band to arrive because the club was 21 and over. They were awesome people and I got to watch their sound check. They offered to put me on the guest list for their show at the Palace with Voices from the Beehive. Great show and one of the most memorable moments of my teens. Thanks Petrol!

I'm probably talking outta my arse here, but I sometimes think this song is about the BBC and other mainstream media services like FOX, CNN, SKY etc with their zealotry when reporting on war. The fuckers love it! Maybe it's the line: "I can only find the murder machine" and the references to 'abject slave mentality' and 'those who have the power but don't try.' Even if the song isn't about that, I still choose to believe it is...
