Although not as "commercially" known like his contemporaries, it is pretty clear that Terry had so much influence on the music scene of that era. I only wish I had discovered him sooner....he is one of the most talented and unique artists. I really, really appreciate him now

Seriously, thank you for this! I hope to see him playing live one day. It seems that it's going to take a bit of travelling though. Big love from Finland.

I saw Terry Reid open for the Stones about 1969. It was BB King, Terry Reid and the Stones. Brian Jones had died and Mick Taylor was on guitar for the Stones. It was the "Get your Yah Yahs Out " Tour I believe. BB King opened, finished, polite clapping and the audience was where's the Stones? You know how that goes. Then Terry Reid came out and completely took over the place. He did either three or four encores while the Stones were waiting for him to finish. At one point Mick and Keith were actually on stage and the audience still wouldn't let Reid leave until he did another encore. That was at the Baltimore Civic Center. The same thing apparently happened in Indianapolis. I saw Hendrix play in a lightning storm and Jim Morrison almost start a riot and that night at the Civic Center may have been the greatest performance I ever saw. Thank you Mr. Reid. Again. .

Like many, the Devil's Rejects introduced me to this man's music. Best thing Rob Zombie has ever done is bring Terry Reid to the ears of a lot of people of my generation. Words can not express what I feel when I hear not only this song, but the entire Seed of Memory album. Powerful, chilling, beautiful music!
