Shawn Zeimet7 hours ago · Shared publicly Terry Reid had the sexiest voice EVER and turned a childhood game into a beautiful song (bang bang) not to mention Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart!!! The two most awesome songs in my book.

Bang bang! How fabulous and genuine was Terry Reid, with that marvellous gravelly British blues voice? (Plus has anyone noticed BTW how like Rob Thomas he looks in this photo?! Intriguing, to say the least...)

terry and nancy actually realized the potential of this song, where as cher's just sounds like a circus theme. that's why terry's and nancy's are better. cher didn't do enough with this song.

Michael Grimm does an amazing version of this song, as well as "Without Expression" & "Stay With Me" (he's got great guitar skills, too and is a very big fan of Terry Reid).. Two undervalued superstars, if u ask me..What they could do together!!..

Written by Sonny Bono for Cher's album "The Sunny Side of Cher" in early 66..Nancy Sinatra covered it later in 66. But Terry's version is far better than either of those!!!

Sonny Bono wrote it for Cher in the early 60's, she released it in 1966. Sinatra covered it a bit later.
