Terri Gibbs recorded her debut single, 'Somebody's Knockin'' in 1980, from her debut album of the same name. The song charted at #8 on the US Hot Country charts in 1981.
'Somebody's Knockin'' earned her a Grammy Award for Best Country Song nomination and won her the 1981 Academy of Country Music Top Female Vocalist and the first Horizon Award from the Country Music Association.
