Tenzin Kunsel performing "My People, My Homeland" live at Leh, Ladakh, India during Kalachakra 2014. This concert music video has been shown on TV channels everywhere during Tibetan new year 2015.

Tenzin Kunsel has been performing since she was five years old. After arriving in New York in 2003 at the age of eight, she has regularly performed in various fund raising events organized by New York’s Tibetan Organizations, including in the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa. She has travelled and performed extensively in the United States and Europe at the invitations of various organizations.

Along with receiving ‘modern’ education, the importance of learning and preserving Tibetan culture, as His Holiness the Dalai Lama advises Tibetan youngsters to do, are always in Tenzin’s mind. With her learning and performing of Tibetan music, Tenzin hopes to preserve a crucial aspect of endangered Tibetan culture.
