This song is from a project CD called "Freedom", compiled by an organization called International Justice Mission. The goal of the organization is to seek justice for victims of various forms of violent oppression, such as modern-day slavery, sex trafficking, illegal detention, etc. 28 Christian artists donated their time and talents to the creation of this double-CD.

The song itself is about thanking God for what He has given us, and that everything that we have really belongs to Him. "There is nothing I can call my own."

The song was written by Mike Donehey of Tenth Avenue North, along with Philip LaRue, Jason Ingram, and Drew Middleton.

Lyrics:

Verse 1:

Forgive me Lord for thinking

You would ever need me

Could you ever need me?

Cause you spoke me into this existence

So why do I resist this?

What is this I can't let go?

Chorus:

Cause all I have is Yours, Oh Lord

Yes, all I have is Yours

Verse 2:

You are Lord of all creation

Author of salvation

Where else can I go?

Cause even this breath that I am taking

You have given to me

There's nothing I can call my own

Chorus x2

Bridge:

And all I have is what you give me

What you give is more than I need

So open my hands to give back freely

The same way You've given to me x2

Chorus x3

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

It's excellent! I really enjoyed it! But i've been looking up for the album and I can't find it anywhere on line! :/ Do you know how can I get it? Thanks!

Still don't get it. I have added the lyrics to my description. You can look at them and see that there are lots of other lines besides "All I have". The amount of repetition is pretty much par for the course for a contemporary Christian song.

I was just saying tenth avenue north needed to add more lines then always saying all I have. Plus all i have is the song name but it just says all I have mostly. Its great I listen to it each night.

I don't understand what you are saying; "add a little more lines than 'all I have'"? There are lots of lines other than that one. Sorry, I don't get it. Yes, they do repeat "all I have" a lot of times, but many worship songs use a lot of repetition. And so does the Bible.

Bob, your photos are TERRIFIC, I love the native American Indian man at the end! Have always thought that what was mine was mine, now I see it belongs to Jesus. This is quite a thought provoking video, am glad that you did it, to set me straight.
