Eddie said Hugo's arrangements were so striking and so magnificent people forgot he did the vocals! He thought the records sounded like Winterhalter records Fisher as the guest vocalist. But he sure like the big sales.

Great post. The 1950's gave us some marvellous songs, and Eddie Fisher gave us marvellous renditions of many of them. It is wonderful that we can still enjoy them via this medium, and by the largesse of people like you who grant us the privilege of doing so by posting these gems.

@billboy508 The Four Aces had a #2 hit in 1951 with "Tell Me Why". Eddie Fisher's version hit #4 in 1952. ♫♥♫

Bobby Vinton covered this song and made it one of his biggest hits but Eddie Fisher recorded it first. Great song great rendition by Eddie
