The second artist who walked away from the music industry while on top would be Karyn White. Karyn debuted with her self titled album release back in 1988. With stand out songs like "The Way You Love Me", "Secret Rendezvous", "Superwoman" and "Love Saw It (duet with Babyface)", her debut was a chart-topper. Karyn would continue on with two more album releases. In 1991, she returned with her second album "Ritual Of Love" and in 1994 her third album "Make Him Do Right". Both albums would have their fair share of successful singles. After the third album, Karyn would walk away from the music industry leaving fans with questions of what happened. Many thought with being blessed to work with two of the most super production teams like Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and LA & Babyface, Karyn would continue on her music journey. Unfortunately she would stay gone until 2011. She would release a fourth album called "Carpe Diem". The release would barely get noticed by fans.
