The only song on the album they weren't playing when they toured on it. Great track though. IMO Verlaine is doing an imitation of Pere Ubu's David Thomas, who he thinks of as Crocus Behemoth from days they played the same clubs occasionally. I remember an interview years back when Verlaine was challenged to name a contemporary he DID think was interesting, and he said "that guy Crocus Behemoth" (sic).
