@thinglostinfire - of course my backing vocal part isn't missing! it comes in at about 2:50 and continues. there i am, at age 17 or 18 i think, clear as a bell . . . and every moment, every sense of that time is as clear now as it was then . . . and there has never been anything like it, nor will there ever be. of that i am certain.if you didn't smell the night, the guitar cases, the walls and the hair, and know them for what they were exactly, at that moment, and how . . . you can't have any sense of where these sounds arose and why.there has never been anything even vaguely approximating seattle in the late 70s. you can't go back there no matter how you try. it is gone. but not forgotten.
