I play this in Drop D/C...but in the "Official" Nevermind tab book (made by musical sense people) its Standard tuning...Nirvana play Drop D but tbh after playing both versions i wouldnt say it necessarily "fucks" up the vocals

Music can be whatever you want it to be, why limit and restrict yourself to have a static and robotic claustrophobic attitude when you can have musical freedom like a Buddhist after all that's what Nirvana means, and so what if you fuck up that just makes it more punk rock.

@fullclip16117 I never played this in drop D and have never seen it tabbed that way. Also, changing tuning or positions for vocals is a standard practice. You are the one without musical sense :(

@fullclip16117 the whole point of this album is as a tribute, not a copy, great that they changed the tuning, great that they sing it different, top marks for NOT trying to sound like Kurt!! f+#@*%g nirvana purist.... where's the sense in that? Kurt wasnt a purist of anything that HE covered... so why should a band covering his stuff do it 'pure' and identical! fair play!
