I love Tegan and Sara's older stuff as well as Hearthrob - it's a fantastic album.Silly to see them referred to as "sellouts" - they've stayed true to themselves in every way imaginable. Their latest album appeals to a more mainstream audience - so what? It's great that more people are discovering these two talented women, and now they'll have more opportunities than ever. Unless very famous, musicians don't make a ton of money. After well over a decade in the business, they are getting the widespread recognition they deserve. That should make the real fans happy.

I love this rendition of Not Tonight with the little bit of Springsteen mixed in. They always sound so good singing along to acoustic songs too. Just beautiful.

i had begun to think that they couldn't sing anymore after their latest album... but this performance proved me wrong. i hope their next album displays their beautiful vocals and delicate parts more :)

Along with their cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time," this is probably the video on YouTube I've replayed the most. It's excellent. I'm addicted. Saw them live in the Philippines, and it was a rockier kind of concert that didn't showcase their amazing vocals as well, but it was still a blast.

I think that Tegan and Sara, especially Sara, perform better when they are playing small venues. They seem a lot more confident and sound way better. Plus, you don't have to deal with all the screaming fans in the background.
