A thousand points of light growing dimmer every day

A saddle of the mind that's hanging up to see

Where's the anger?

Where's the rage?

Are you really all asleep?

Information democratized, population hypnotized

We used to fight it, they're born to buy it

Strung up at birth and hung out to dry

A million running mouths with nothing much to say

A collective aneurysm is the hive identity

Where's the reflex?

Where's the strength?

Are you really all so weak?

Information democratized, population hypnotized

We used to fight it, they're born to buy it

Strung up at birth and hung out to dry

A shiny brave new world for you and me

This is a shoddy paint job on an ancient scheme

You're paying to starve

You're passing bucks to keep yourself blind

Never trust, Never trust lies of the machine

When everything looks different but it's really all the same

Here's a promise,

Here's a lie,

It's not enough for me!

Born sedated, lobotomized

Simulated appetites

We used to fight it

They're born to buy it

Strung out at birth and hung out to dry

Not gonna lie. Being on rise records and having a name like Teenage time killers i expected post hardcore or something of the sort. Listening to this makes me smile. They're pretty dope and I like the sound

Old School at it's finest!Apparently 90% of the people commenting here don't have a fucking clue or are just too fucking young to get it.

Look if you're not into this then quit bitchin. It's well produced. I'm not into this Metalcore/Punk so I'm just gonna keep looking around.

I only don't see why this is getting so much hate. Yeah the productions a little shitty but they're making a punk record not a joey sturgis record, and not saying punk has shitty production either, but I'm sure they were looking for a dirtier sound. Most of the people complaining are probably mad it doesn't have the typical "rise" sound.

I feel like Grohl fans were expecting something more along the lines of foo, nirvana or qotsa. As someone who listens to both that and shit more like this, it's good, just keep an open mind.

Im surprised at all the hate this is getting, Im not the biggest fan of Lamb of God but this song was sick! High energy, probably the heaviest thing on the album (which lets face it is gonna kick ass) I like it, Randy Blythe killed it

Much better than I was expecting. If you think the production is jacked, your high.

They released another track and now I can tell that this isn't even a supergroup. It's a compilation and this along with the other song were pretty weak. Oh well. Dave should've done vox.

The start of this sounds so much like the start of Slayer - Raining Blood. legal action?

Supposedly this is a heavy metal, hard rock super group consisting of every famous person in the Heavy Metal universe, Corey Taylor, Randy Blythe, And many others, the band line up is freaking ridiculous, it's like 20 members

A lot of people are saying that this song is awful, mixed horribly, etc. But I think that's kind of the point. This song and project as a whole is meant to pull influence from hardcore punk from the late 80's and 90's. Which is also why they have Randy Blythe screaming because screaming originated in punk.
