Didn't get to see them until 1980 and at that time Frankie was still a killer frontman... but this is the band at their coolest!

Just finished reading Gods of the Hammer. Brought back so many memories. I was the singer in a band called Mick Slick and we used to see the Head at Larrys Hideway on Carlton St. Only got to play there twice but the Head were to big by then. Fun times for sure.

were Teenage Head and Forgotten Rebels from Hamilton? i met a guy in a record shop who claimed to have managed them both. i gotta go with the Rebels--first 2 albums are some of the best, still sound as good as ever albums ever made...underrated, they destroy so many UK and US bands from that time---lucky they were among my first shows living on the Niagara Falls border. In Love With The System has not aged and is a classic punk album. They shifted to glam, but made a second flawless album. hard to believe mickey is still alive seeing him looking like walking death over 20 years ago in buffalo at River Rock Cafe. The Rebels simply did punk and glam punk perfect. Time To Run!
