Feels like I've loved his music forever ... Perhaps I have!

American country music today has not produced even one singer as good as Teddy. It was a very pleasant thing to run across this great video. This is good, good country.

The greatest complement I can give this is that if I shut my eyes I can hear Jackson Browne

TT comes from a great music lineage. There's some connection thematically between this tune and his Dad's Valerie. If you've never heard Valerie, you might be surprised to hear that "Looking for a Girl" is a little more subtle.

Yet another great 3 minute song from TT. He has a knack of really catchy simple tunes. Anyone out there thinks it's easy, tell you what, instead of writing absolute shite about all singers on here, try writing something better and telling uis all about it. Oh, what's that ? it's dead silence, that's what it is.

@yorkshire tractors... I wasn't a snob until I read your posts. If 'snob' is the opposite of you, then I embrace that tag wholeheartedly. Maybe posh twats become successful musicians because at the very least they know how to spell, unlike you. Methinks your inferiority complex is toxic, and you might want to hang out with likeminded folk instead of polluting pages that contain great music. How's that for free speech?

Ha ha...what an ignorant bumpkin, tractor idiot. Get back to doing what you do best, inbreeding with your own relations and leave the intelligent discussions to people who know what they are talking about. I would love to have a battle of wits with you but I see that you are unarmed.

Music doesn't exist in a vacuum, every musician, either side of the Atlantic is the sum of all sorts of influence and cross breeding. There are plenty of U.S. artists who'd cite the Beates/Stones and other UK acts as decisive influences and, of course they'd say the same the other way around.. Alternatively we could all just sit here telling each other to "fuck off," it's so much more productive! ;O) Peace, love, dope..without the dope bit!

Excellent track and even better with the band. He played it live with a band at Dublin.Sounds like this Yorkshire Farmer idiot has been playing with his sheep too much.. :o)

Great song. Teddy should move to Austin TX. Great place to live and great for musicians like him.

A New York Times review heaped praise on this singer, is not bad but it doesn't blow my mind either.
