I always thought it was funny when, back in the late 1970's, the youth pastors at my church warned us kids about listening to Ted's music because it would "corrupt" our young minds. Then a few years later, after Reagan became president and Ted came out as a Republican, his music was no longer considered "corrupting".Thirty years on, I long for the day when Republicans no longer hold Christianity hostage.
