@backbeat56 - with all due respect, backbeat56... what you see captured here in terms of tempo change? nothing short of intentional by Ted and his ultraprofessional band. they were playing mind-bending blues, but nonetheless blues... on a TV show. and TV audiences by-and-large, to this day, still want to be ENTERTAINED, not made to FEEL - most people live life superficially. slow blues has depth, but if you play it up-tempo, it's less provocative, more palatable for TV. my two cents - peace...14 years ago

Does a pro like Ted mean to play this song to fast live?....is it for the extra energy?...or a mistake....as a drummer I used a "BeatBug" live to get the correct tempo because I had a habit of playing to fast when in a live environment. Anyone with pro stage experience have a comment? P.S.....What a GREAT song!!14 years ago

His "Spirit of the Wild" came about many years ago...I've seen the Nuge 48 times in concert, and he has been all about the Spirit of the Wild since the very early 80's He is just a lot more into it than he may have spoke of 30 years ago. 1st time I heard him make reference to the Spirit of the Wild, was back in '83...as he played "Great White Buffalo.14 years ago
