Came looking for this song because I was at a show in Macon Ga where I lived and Ted played this song live for the very first time ever. He announced on stage that they had just recorded this new song that would be on his next album and he was going to play it there for the first time live. He said excuse the mistakes. I have a soundboard recording of this whole show in my collection of private shows. I am going to also ad here how I got the soundboard recording because it has a bit of rock and roll history attached to it. This all after a "down memory lane" session last night where I pulled a lot of my music out and listened.I worked with "Great Southern" back in 1977 through 1979. I was working security at this show. Great Southern provided security and Merch sales for about every band that came to Ga back then. I had made a good friend who worked the soundboard at the Macon Coliseum (now the Macon Centreplex) for every show in Macon. I had been talking to my soundboard buddy because I wanted a copy of the nights show,Nazareth was opening and I loved them during this time... Hair Of The Dog still rocks. He let me plug in my new cassette recorder into the sound board plug and a dude came up and told asked us if we had heard anything about Lynyryd Skynyrd's plane going down and everyone had been killed. We were all shocked, he and I both had worked with Lynyryd Skynyrd a month earlier for a week because Great Southern had picked up their merch contract. This show was actually my first time seeing Ted live even though Great Southern had done Lynyryd Skynyrd shows before where Ted opened for them. I had been on the road with a Band also handled by Great Southern named "The Dixie Dregs" but I was supposed to meet up with Ted Nugents people that night where I and a couple of other guys were gonna fly with them to their next few shows representing Great Southern and then meet back up with Lynyryd Skynyrd for a couple of months where Ted was going to again be opening for Lynyryd Skynyrd.I remember we went asking around and we ran into Ira Sokoloff who was my boss who was talking to the Macon Coliseum promoter (Alex Cooley). He confirmed that Lynyryd Skynyrd's plane had gone down and he ran my buddie back to the soundboard but told me to go with the Alex Cooley to let Ted's people into the building and show them their dressing room area. I will never forget Ted and his band standing there and Ted screamed " What the fuck". I showed them to their dressing room and stayed there to be their goffer for the next hour or so till the show started where I was going to go to a merch stand and be ready to sell T-shirts and stuff from the doors opening until Ted took the stage. Once Ted took the stage I was supposed to meet up with his tour manger who put me between the gate and the stage keeping people from climbing up on the stage. After the show we all (The Great Southern people) who were supposed to hook up with Ted all went back to the motel then I went home but had to be at the Macon airport a couple hours later to fly off with some of Ted's people to the next show. Ted didn't fly with us but he was at the next night's show. I also was given my cassette recording on the flight and we all listened to it when we got to the next town. I think I traveled with Ted for maybe 4 or 5 shows then he was supposed to meet up with Lynyryd Skynyrd to open for them at Madison Square Garden. I got to that show not knowing what to do because Ted was a temporary thing for me and I had not been able to reach Ira Sokoloff to find out what I and the others were supposed to do.After we got to the Garden we found out we were going to stay with Ted a few more shows and then meet up with the Atlanta Rythem Section and work with them. But instead of Lynyryd Skynyrd headlining we were told that Ted was headlining that night. This was a great time for me. I was under aged and got paid cash every week. I still have all or most of the shows we recorded back then and many of them I have transferred over to digital now. I enjoy my rather unique music collection.

His 1st 6 years as a solo artist theres not a single political song or interview out there. Unless Great White Buffalo from DLG counts which is a song about how white men with guns will always fuck things up. God bless the artistically brilliant draft dodging version of Ted Nugent! Regardless of how awful the last 32 years have been from Ted Nugent-Scream Dream he was a ruler of the roost right alongside Kiss,Aerosmith,Purple,SabbathZeppelin, Rush,Blue Oyster Cult,Sweet,UFO,Cheap Trick etc...
