Through the study of philosophy we know there is a higher power. We are "finite beings" meaning we are born and at some point we, our physical bodies, die or pass on. So, knowing that we are finite there has to be a balance. There is an infinite being, maybe even beings. This being or the beings can not have our make up, meaning they can not have what makes us human. Infinite means always and forever. That means this being or the beings have been here before the start of time, as we know it, and will be here (in existence) for all of time. Do we know any facts about this being or these beings, obviously not. Could it be "God" as we all know in the Bible, yes it COULD be emphasis on could. But "God" may not even be as is explained in the Bible. We have no factual evidence that "God" would even want what is best for us, meaning humans. Could mankind have gotten it right in the Bible? We as humans will probably never know. Your perceptions and beliefs are totally in your hands. At the end of the day you make the choice to believe what suits you in your life. Through philosophy we even know that every human has a soul. Hmmm just thinking about that is questionable to me... Just think about that. We have a "soul" we have something inside of us or maybe it is just around us in some way that we go to or transform into after our finite or physical self passes on. Could that mean we go from finite to infinite and could that mean that "God" is really inside or part of every single one of us? There are so many more questions than answers.....
