This Band has truly INSPIRED ME (ever since I was a child in the early- to-mid 80's)!!! This song sends chills down my spine, I will always especially appreciate this era of Tears for Fears because this is the time in their career when the name Tears for Fears had a DEEP MEANING, especially being derived from Arthur Janov's book of Psychology. As a Fan, I was fascinated by the meaning behind the Band Name. Even though TFF changed their sound throughout the years (getting away from the trendy New Wave sound that they had on both "The Hurting" and "Songs from the Big Chair"), they are the same FABULOUS/FLAWLESS Band that strives for success EVERY TIME and NEVER lets their Fans down:-) I want TFF inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!! Finally, if it wasn't for this Band, it is hard to say that I would be into Music at such a young age.

by far one of the most (if not the most) musically talented "80's new wave" bands...

Best sounding, most original band of the tidal wave of Brit 80's bands, too bad their MTV videos are embarrassing, and they were so overplayed and over-compressed on Radio, not until the remastered CD's came along could you really HEAR the quality of the songs, arrangements, the superlative final mixes that considering the relatively primitive sound equipment at that time. Listen to the Big Chair and Seeds of Love (even the over bright original CD's). Remember these were analog recordings !!

You are so right.. :) ..'d be nice if they were interested in holding a fan-participatory party to, for instance, celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Hurting album in '13.
