Tea & Symphony was a psychedelic folk band from Birmingham. The core line-up consisted of Jeff Daw, James Langston and Nigel Phillips. They would become most famous for their strange stage-shows and presentation which included as much theatrical as musical content.

An Asylum For The Musically Insane (1969) was made up of nine original songs all composed by the group themselves. The recording was described as eccentric and reviews in the music press ranged from brilliant to self-indulgent. Armchair Theafre is the first song of the album.

I used to watch Tea & Symphony at a Henrys Blues House in Birmingham in about 1969. There was also a new band called 'Black Sabbath' who were recording their first LP! Thanks for bringing back some happy memories...

They sound a bit like the Bonzo Dog Band.

Yes it was, but I can't find that song. Boredom is actually a cover on Procol Harum.
